Back to School Day

In preparation of the new academic year, families and teachers are invited to help spruce up the classrooms and school grounds. It's also a great way of meeting other parents and becoming more familiar with the school.

International Evening

Come join us for a night celebrating the diversity and multiculturalism that makes St Barnabas Primary School so special! Children will sing, dance and read in different languages in the hall followed by a sampling of finger foods from all around the world prepared by parents and families. Please sign up here to help out!

School Facelift Day

Another opportunity to spruce up the school while also meeting with other families. There are plenty of activities such as painting, tidying up, gardening (weather permitting). No need to sign up, just show up!

PTA Meeting

The first meeting of the academic year! A focus will be planning the events for the autumn term, reviewing and approving last year's finances and of course enjoying some pizza, beverages and each other's company!

Children's Christmas Fair

This event kicks off the holiday season and the children absolutely love it! Different stalls will be up in the hall where children can spend tokens to purchase toys, books, cakes, sweets, etc. for themselves or family members. They can also partake in guessing games, a tombola to win prizes, a lucky dip and so much more! You don't want to miss this one, and adults can join in on all the fun by running one of the stalls!

Christmas Carol Service

A St Barnabas Primary School mainstay, our annual Christmas Carol Service is not to be missed! Taking place at the glorious St Barnabas Church, children will sing carols followed by a social gathering for families serving mulled wine and mince pies...yum! All donations received will go towards future PTA spending plans! Sign up here if you can lend a hand!

Father Christmas Books

Another true St Barnabas Primary School tradition fostering a love of reading in all children. Every year Father Christmas visits St Barnabas and generously gifts a new wrapped book for every child to enjoy. Father Christmas and his elves are looking for helpers!

Disco and Raffle

Our groovy Disco is back! There will be dancing, food, drinks, a bar for grown ups, a crafts table and even a raffle. Funds earned on food, drinks and the raffle will go towards future PTA spending plans. So bring the good vibes and let's boogie! Volunteers are needed, can you dig it?

Ceilidh Dance Night

We're trying something new this year as voted by PTA members! If you're not all danced out by the Disco, you definitely will be after the Ceilidh. Come join us for some food, drinks, dancing and a fun time! Volunteers will be needed, so be sure to sign up here!

Run Jericho

Run Jericho is so big that we have entire pages on our website dedicated to it. It's so huge in fact, that there's a separate organising subcommittee who starts the planning as early as January. No experience is required and there are so many fun roles which need filling. It's a great way to learn new skills, develop friendships, strengthen ties within the school and community and did I mention that it's our largest fundraiser? Sign up to join the subcommittee here!
